Our farm has recently introduced a new line of Idaho Pastured Pigs with exceptional bloodlines, representing the highest standards of quality and excellence in the industry.
Our commitment to sustainable farming practices, humane animal care, and genetic diversity has led us to carefully select and breed Idaho Pastured Pigs with superior bloodlines. Our lines include Triton, Jewel, Sam and Pepper.
IPPs are friendlier than domestic pigs. They are a true reproduction of what pork was before the ultra lean flavorless modern pork. Their meat is a deep red, well marbled and tastes great.

Idaho Pasture Pigs (IPPs) are called "pasture pigs" because they are specifically bred and raised for pasture-based farming systems. The term "pasture pig" highlights their suitability for grazing on pasture and their ability to thrive in outdoor environments
IPPs are fast growing making it to market weight of 250-300 pounds in 8-10 months. Sows generally weigh 250-400 pounds and boars 300-500 when fully grown. They have a compact and sturdy build, with a shoulder height ranging from 18-24 inches.
IPPs are very gentle, non aggressive and love attention. In fact as you research this breed you will frequently find photos of adults and children playing with them. Our IPPs are handled by adults and children from the time they're born until they leave our farm.
Duroc, Old Berkshire and Kunekune are the breeds used to develop the breed.
Duroc for fast growth rate.
Berkshire is the Cadillac of pork the taste is amazing!
Kunekune for disposition size and grazing ability.
IPPs come in black, white and red. In addition to their colors, they may be solid, tri-colored or brindled (striped) with unique markings that contribute to their visual diversity. Our most recent litter includes all colors (black, white and red) and patterns (solid and striped) in a single litter!
The IPP breed is still up and coming and while some piglets will hold all the desirable characteristics of an IPP some will fall short. If a piglet falls short it will be raised for meat, thus designated a feeder. Feeders are castrated males.
Our litters have ranges from 6-13 piglets per litter.
